Carter Anderson was born in St. Louis, Missouri, but came to Texas as soon as possible — just like Davy Crockett did. He attained his passion for woodworking from his late grandfather, and started using tools and getting accustomed to the craftsmanship at the age of five.
Continuing to pursue that passion, he decided to share his unique talents and engage in pen making with premium materials including, but not limited to, exotic woods, animal antlers, and high-quality acrylic. Each one-of-a-kind piece embodies passion, quality, and astute attention to detail.
“I am pleased to share my God-given abilities with each of you and hope that you treasure these handcrafted pieces for years to come.”
— Carter Anderson
What started as a quiet evening practice in a garage workshop has grown into a full-time devotion to the craft of pen turning. Every piece that leaves the studio still carries the same spirit it began with — patience, precision, and reverence for the material.
We work in solid exotic hardwoods, deer and elk antler, and high-grade acrylics. Each blank is hand-chosen for its grain, its weight, its promise. Hardware is sourced from German and Japanese specialists — solid brass and chrome appointments engineered to last decades. Nothing in an Anderson pen is disposable.

Shaped on the lathe with hand-ground tools — no two pens are dimensionally identical.

Wet-sanded through twelve grits, then hand-polished to a mirror lustre that lasts.
